Integration Types

Every connection your stack needs.

Data flows one way — automatically — with no manual re-entry, no mismatch, and a full audit trail in Odoo.

REST & XML-RPC APIs

Bidirectional API integrations between Odoo and external systems — versioned, documented, and failure-safe from day one.

Webhook Pipelines

Event-driven webhooks that push data instantly when something changes — no polling, no lag, no missed updates.

eCommerce Sync

Real-time bidirectional sync with Shopify, WooCommerce, Amazon SP-API, and custom storefronts — orders, inventory, pricing.

Payment Gateway

Stripe, Razorpay, PayTabs, and custom payment integrations with automatic ledger posting and bank reconciliation.

Courier & 3PL

FedEx, DHL, Aramex, and custom carrier connectors with live tracking, label generation, and fulfillment status webhooks.

Custom Middleware

Purpose-built middleware layers for multi-system data transformations, routing logic, and protocol translation.

How We Build It

Integrations built to run, not just demo.

Every integration we ship is built for real production load — failure-safe, observable, and maintainable long after go-live.

sync_alt

Bidirectional by Design

We architect integrations so data flows correctly in both directions from the start — with conflict resolution, field mapping, and transformation rules agreed before a line of code is written. No "sync one way, figure out the other later."

security

Failure-Safe Pipelines

Retry logic, dead-letter queues, and alerting baked in from the start. A failed API call or network timeout does not silently corrupt your data — it retries, escalates, and logs. You know about the problem before your customer does.

monitoring

Observable & Auditable

Every sync event, transformation, and error is logged with context and timestamp inside Odoo's chatter. No black-box middleware that only the integration vendor can debug. Your team can read the log.

api

Protocol Agnostic

REST, SOAP, XML-RPC, GraphQL, EDI, FTP, or proprietary binary formats — we've built for all of them. The choice of protocol is driven by what the external system supports, not by what we're comfortable with.

hub

Multi-System Orchestration

When a single business event needs to touch five systems — Odoo, a WMS, a courier API, a GST portal, and a CRM — we build the orchestration layer so each system gets the right data in the right format at the right time.

Built to Evolve

Integrations are structured so adding a new endpoint, changing a field mapping, or switching a payment provider does not require a full rebuild. Documented, modular, and owned by you — not locked to us.

Platforms

Systems we connect to Odoo.

If it has an API, we can integrate it. Below is what we've built for production clients — not just prototypes.

Our Process

How an integration actually gets built.

Four stages, no surprises halfway through.

01

System Audit & Data Mapping

We map every data entity, field mapping, transformation rule, and failure mode before writing a line of code.

02

Architecture & Protocol Design

Choosing the right protocol, authentication strategy, retry policy, and error-handling approach for the systems involved.

03

Build & Edge-Case Testing

Integration built and tested against real data — including failure cases, timeouts, retries, and rollback scenarios.

04

Production Deployment & Monitoring

Controlled go-live with monitoring, alerting, and a clear runbook for handling pipeline failures.

05

Documentation & Handoff

Full technical documentation of every endpoint, field mapping, and failure handling — owned by you, not locked to us.

Why DataInteger

An integration partner, not a connector plugin.

precision_manufacturing

Odoo-native, not bolted on

We build integrations that use Odoo's ORM, business logic, and access controls directly — not middleware that bypasses your ERP and creates a second source of truth.

history

We've seen these failure modes before

Duplicate records, partial syncs, timezone mismatches, API rate limits — we've hit them all in production and designed our patterns around avoiding them.

description

You own what we build

Full source code, complete documentation, and a handoff designed so your own developers — or any competent Odoo partner — can maintain and extend the integration without coming back to us.

FAQ

Common Integration Questions

Sometimes. If the system has a database we can access, a file export, or a legacy EDI/FTP interface, we can build around it. We'll assess feasibility before scoping.

We design integrations with rate limit awareness from the start — request queuing, exponential backoff, and batch calls where the API supports it. This is engineered in, not patched in later.

Failed sync events are logged with context, queued for retry, and — for critical failures — trigger an alert. Partial writes are rolled back where possible so your data stays consistent.

Yes. We typically run a one-time historical migration first, then switch to live sync at cutover. The migration and sync logic often share the same transformation layer to keep the codebases consistent.

We build integrations as standard Odoo modules following upgrade-conscious practices. When you upgrade Odoo, the integration module requires the same upgrade process as any other custom module — not a full rebuild.

A single focused integration (e.g. Shopify ↔ Odoo or a payment gateway) typically takes 3–6 weeks from requirements to production. Multi-system orchestration projects are scoped in phases.
